Hank, the Most Valuable Player in the National League in 1957, is a terror to opponent when World Series time rolls around. In the '57 Fall Classic he belted a torrid .393 with 3 homers and 7 Runs Batted in. Last Year he posted a .333 mark against the Yanks.
The only season that Hank hit less than .300 was in '54 when he fractured his ankle late in the season and was sidelined for the balance of the campaign. Eddie wields one of the most powerful bats in baseball. In 7 years with the Braves, he was Averaged 36 homers per season. In addition to belting the ball out of the park, Ed can work pitchers for walks and in '55 led N.L. in receiving Bases on Balls. Eddie is the best bunter on the Braves.
