  • Description
This tablecloth I hate to part with but it really clashes with my decor. It is Frenches mustard yellow and olive green woven in a checkerboard plaid with a 5 inch border of bands of the two olive colors. It is made of coarse nubby cotton that probably has quite a bit of linen in it. This was a common weave in the 1950s.
Every thing about this tablecloth says Russel Wright but there is no label and I don't actually think this is a RW, but it would certainly provide a most appropriate background for his American modern dishes. It is 47 x 66 inches and in impeccable condition. This was and remains a top of the line tablecloth.
In the photos, the darkest pic is the most accurate for color. The yellow is strong but the photos show it as washed out. The olive is not as dark as in the darkest pic.
