Our leathers are thick, top quality leathers & full of distressing. This type leather is also a “pull-up” which simply means that when you apply weight to the leather, the wax shifts positions, causing more distressing and creates a worn rustic antique look. The wax will also have a smooth hand feel, darkening with use. Our Fargo Chocolate is specifically used by well known designers to give that “Ralph Lauren” look. Each piece is carefully finished to create the patina of fine antiques with fittings appropriate to its style and period. Primary wood species include Mahogany, Oak, Pine, Teak, Alder, Rubberwood, and Birch. Some of our finishes maintain a certain distressed and antiquated look. As such, slight variations in dimension or finish can be expected. Solid wood furniture is affected by humidity and atmospheric pressures, so it continually responds to its environment. Some splitting, cracking, warping, or other movement of wood components may occur. All other undamaged furniture pieces may be returned in their original packing crate within 7 days of receipt.
