The herbal compressed ball or " Lookprakob " in Thai language, a Thai traditional natural therapy, consists of many kinds of Thai herbs which easily transform to be essential oil after receiving the heat. This essential oil would expand the tissue so it will help reduce muscle tension, arthritic, and especially infected swollen which occur within 24 - 48 hours.

Plai(in Thai)
Plai has a known anti-inflammatory property. Some Specific uses are for relieving sprains, muscle pain, wound healing and colds. The portion of the plant used is the rhizome stem. Plai is in the ginger family.
Kha-min(in Thai) or Tumeric
Tumeric is an anti-bacterial and anti-microbial, with specific use in the case of itching, infected wounds or to improve the appearance of the skin. The part of the plant used is the rhizome. Tumeric is yellow in color.
Ta-krai (in Thai) or Lemon Grass
Ta-krai is found effective for healing fungal and bacterial infections. The part of the plant used is its leaf.
Puew Makrut (in Thai) or Kaffir Lime Peel
Kaffir lime is used to treat dry skin and damaged hair and dandruff. It is a natural cleanser and a deodorizer. The rind
of the fruit is used.
Kara Boon (in Thai) or Camphor
Kara Boon is a diaphoretic which is good for asthma and upper respiratory problems. The part of the tree used is the leaf.
Product Features:
Muscular relaxation, relief of muscular pain, reduction of swell caused by muscular inflammatory or in the area of joints, helps stimulate or increase blood circulate
Direction:
1. Sprinkle some water over the compress ball, steam it until heated through about 15-20 minutes. Use any kitchen steamer in suitable size or simply choose a pot or saucepan slightly smaller than the compress ball, boil the water and then rest the ball on the pot or saucepan to intercept the steam.
2. The compress ball will get soften and release. Its essential oil will be intensified and ready. Once the ball is warm or heated to the desired temperature, remove one at a time and cover with a bath towel to maintain an even temperature and prevent excessive heat.
3. Test the heat on your sensitive area of skin first(such as the back of the hand or forearm.), If the temperature is O.K. then press and massage directly on your body and rotate.
4. The compress ball should not be rested too long on the skin, press and move in constant and rapid motion. Alternate the compress often to maintain the level of the heat.
Positioning the compress:
The herbal ball can be used on almost any part of the body, for example the legs, knees, feet, back, waist, hip, shoulder, neck, arms, stomach and side of the body.
Caution:
1. For external used only!!!
2. Do not massage over the wounds.
3. Avoid using the ball directly on soft tissue, a paralyzed patient, young children, elderly people and diabetic patients whose heat response is slower than usual. Slow heat can still burn the skin of these people. However, the herbal ball may be wrapped in a towel before use, or one can wait a while for the heat to dissipate.
4. Do not use the ball during the first 24 hours of inflammation. It is advisable to compress the area with ice.
5. After compressing treatment, do not immediately take a shower. Such action will wash out the herbal properties from your skin. Sudden changes of temperature may cause a cold which is undesirable.
Care & storage:
1. Air dried a harbal ball after using and keep it in the sealed plastic bag or zip lock bags and store in the refrigerator(not freezer).
2. A herbal ball an be used up to 3-5 times with effective results.
3. If the ball dries out, it should be sprayed with water before steaming. If the ball has no yellow or light yellow in the compress, it means the herbs have deteriorated. If this is case, you should get a new one.
4. Discard the ball if it develops a sour odor, changes color, or if any mould appears.
Side-effect: There are no known side-effects.
