Here we have a stunning set of Elder Futhark Runes carved into seashell chips. Seashells may not have been the traditional material chosen for The Runes creation, but it is a well known fact that the Norse were indeed a travelling people. And that their mode of travel was often the seas. Do the Vikings sound familiar?
I have carved the Norse runes into the backs of the seashell chips, then handpainted a striking shade of light purple (color of spiritual enlightenment) to add to their character and quality. The faces and shapes of the chips have been left untouched to honor the origin of these peices.
Included are 28 rune chips. This includes the nontraditional sun, moon, and blank chips. I find my runeset incomplete without these elements, but there are some who would profess this blasphemy. Keep them as a part of your oracle set or use them as talismans. I have also included an attractive handsown deep purple velour pouch. To keep your set safe.
