Leather Clutch Evening Bag by Budd - Vintage w Lucite Handle Closure

Have you ever had the pleasure of touching Budd leather? It is the softest leather, with a kind of "suede" hand to it...unique. These little make-up bags, great when used as an evening bag, were first created during the 1920s, the year of this particular item is unknown.

The top frame and closure are transparent Lucite and the inside is lined with hot pink silk like fabric. Measures 6 inches wide by 5 1/2 inches high.

Nice condition inside and out. I had a little difficulty opening it, but should work fine with some use. The previous owner did not use it more than once and it has been stored for decades. Leather is lightening in color with age.
