These are Science 44 high quality WaterBeads that have been manufactured to strict standards and tested by Research and Development before becoming part of Science 44's product line.
Science 44 WaterBeads are 100% colorfast making them perfect for multi-color displays. The waterbead colors do NOT bleed! Some of our competitors sell a lower quality waterbead which bleed and stain containers as well as your skin, additionally if you try to put more than one color waterbead in a vase the colors run into each other and makes them very unattractive.
These waterbeads are NON-TOXIC
Hydrate with water (distilled is best) your waterbeads for 6-12 hours to hydrate. Your Science44 WaterBeads will properly disperse water slowly so your fresh-cut flowers and plants get the water they need to survive and florish for weeks to come! Again, some of our competitors sell a lower quality waterbead which do not disperse water at all, this makes them not useable for live plants and flowers, additionally, some lesser quality waterbeads will expand and shortly thereafter turn to mush.
Waterbeads can be used over and over again for up to two years. After soaking your waterbeads they will slowly disperse water, as the water disperses your beads will begin to shrink, after 4 to 6 weeks re-soak your waterbeads as instructed or let them dry completely and use them again at a later time.
Additionally, waterbeads are a great source of water for your plants and fresh cut flowers. If you are using your waterbeads for plants or flowers feel free to add a teaspoon of liquid fertilizer to your water when soaking in order to keep your plants and flowers healthier longer.
