This Simplicity pattern is number 1588 issued in 1945. It is for a maternity dress in size 16, bust 34. This pattern has pre-cut pattern pieces typical of the era. The pieces are intact and present except for the facings for the outside arm turn up shown in the view on the right; the facings for the simpler dress on the left are present. Some of the pieces show yellowing from age. The envelop is intact but yellowed. The description reads: Soft gathers at the waistline and front shoulder releases easy bodice fullness.
