Vintage 1972 children's / girls' Simplicity sewing pattern, style number 5111 in size 8. Vintage costumes for Halloween or actual sports activities like cheerleading and skating.
Girls' cheerleader, majorette and skating costumes. V. 1 and 2 dress with circular skirt stitched to bodice at waistline has back zipper, stand-up collar, long set-in sleeves and contrasting skirt facing. V. 1 with frog trim has novelty metallic trim. V. 2 has novelty trim. Circular skirt V. 3 with contrasting facing has back zipper and waistband. Shorts V. 1, 2 and 3 cut of skirt facing fabric have back zipper and elastic waistline and leg casings. The lined vest V. 3 with front button closing has V shaped neckline. Sizes 7 through 12 do not have breast darts.
The pattern envelope may show wear and tear from age or storage, or have writing or markings which do not affect the pattern tissue. The pattern tissue and instructions inside are complete and uncut. Copyright dated 1972.
