Vintage Formal light mint green prom dress evening gown 1960s No. 133
Lovely scoop neckline formal or prom dress from the 1960s. This is a small gown made of a floral brocade fabric. There are small cap sleeves, side darts, and the multiple folded or ruched cummerband style waist with a flared skirt. In the pictures the dress does not have an extra crinoline. It stands out nicely on its own because there are two layers of underskirts. One is a tulle long crinoline, the other is a shorter stiffened almost muslin type fabric. There is a rolled rose accent and streamers which extend from the center back. A 14 inch zipper provides back closure. The back of the skirt is slightly longer than the front, so it has a slight train effect or mermaid hem.
There are a few small issues which should be readily repaired. One or two of the eyes or hooks connecting the ribbon needs to be re-sewn. Other issues which are minor are listed below.

Defects or Issues:
This dress is in good vintage condition. It will need to be cleaned. There is one minor discoloration on the dress that is barely visible, there is minor discoloration on one underarm, there is a spot on the hem that is not visible from the outside, and there is a tear in the netting underskirt. But as seen in the pictures, these do not distract from the presentation of a beautiful vintage evening gown or prom dress.
