This is a cool piece! Meter was drilled out to create lamp. The artist used a brass cymbal for a shade which tends to give it a arts and crafts look. Shade tilts and turns.
Water meter was manufactured by Worthington & Gamon Newark, NJ. The model name is (Watchdog).
The lamp as a whole is showing nice age and works fine. I do suggest that lamp be re-wired and brought up to current electrical codes.
