This coat is made from various shades of brown, and white recycled / up-cycled sweaters. Size is between a large-extra large and around mid-calf length. I like to try and do different things each time I create one of my coats. This one has a patchwork, freeform tree using fabric from the rest of the coat. White top is super soft with a unique button and the wrap around style allows for extra size. The sleeves are made just like the bottom part of the coat and open up quite a bit with thumb holes hidden in between two of the panels.
Sleeve length (measured from armpit hem to end of sleeve): 21"
Length (measured from shoulder to hem of skirt): 44"
Bust (measured from armpit to armpit of back relaxed and then stretched and multiplied by two): 42"- 58"
A Little About Me
I have always been a very creative individual and having a seamstress for a mother inspired my individuality. My first sewing machine was given to me about the same time that I started to make porcelain dolls as a young girl. I went on to become an actress from middle school through college; where I occasionally designed my own outfits or others. I love being able to get to know diverse individuals and spent a lot of time hanging out with other artistic people who continued to inspire me. Currently I am working on my masters degree in social work and realized that I need some good time for myself if I am going to be working in a low paying, stressful field. Working on various projects is so much fun to me and fits in with my hippy, fire-dancing, ballroom, and thespian personalities.
Layaways and Custom Orders
If a product has not sold in one week from the posting date I will consider a layaway transaction. Contact me in advance for more details. A deposit will be required. I am also open to the idea of custom orders but must remind you that the items show will not be exactly the same since every sweater I get is hard to find again. I will ask for a list of things that you must have on the outfit and things that you are willing to do without (or do not want).
As Always: Contact me for any further questions, comments, or concerns. Happy shopping!
