These are handmade box chain teardrop earrings that start small and gradually increases in size. These earring have been made from both bright aluminum and stainless steel and are set on fish hook style earring hooks.
Process and Materials:
All of my pieces are hand made from start to finish beginning with basic bulk wire. This process allows me to take a special amount of care in all of my work. I use a large variety of materials but I tend to rely heavily on aluminum, copper, brass, and bronze for my jewelry and steel for my fire/rave toys. The reason: for jewelry, they are cheap (this can allow me to sell very nice pieces at a fraction of the cost of silver and gold), do not tarnish (the tarnished copper is coated), and are lightweight; for fire/rave toys I only use stainless steel because it is rugged, durable, and can withstand the abuse that these toys will generally get put through.
Family and friends love to wear my jewelry at a variety of places including around town and at upscale events. They constantly tell me about the compliments that they get from my items and in some cases even make people a little envious because they cannot just go out and buy it from the store. My wife and I have done fire dancing for years and love using chainmail for our poi because it lasts and does not lock up when you twist it.
