BLACK MAGIC By Bombi ~ BUBBLE BATH
1948 Vintage ~ VERY RARE & HARD TO FIND
This Item is a Collectible Vintage Perfumed Vanity Cosmetic made in the late 1940s.
The Bubble Bath Bottle is in excellent condition. The Original Box is included, which is in Very Good Condition as pictured but has torn off (but included) top flap due to age and storage. All manufacturer's labeling and print are readable on both the bottle and box. The items pictured are the Actual Items being sold. The Bubble Bath has very little fragrance left and has evaporated (or may have been used) some as shown in the photo and is being sold as a Collectible Vanity Item. The bottle is a 3 oz. size measuring 4 1/4" tall including it's bakelite cap. It is 1 3/4" in diameter.

Sweet Words: In San Francisco, newspaper readers got their first whiff of a scented sales stunt. The Emporium department store and Bombi Perfumer, Inc. had printers mix Black Magic perfume with the ink for their full-page perfume ads. Result: Emporium sold out its stock of Black Magic in less than a day. From Time Magazine.
