This is a vintage, brass taper candle stick holder from the mid-1900s. The candle holder has a square base with the main stem rising up to a height of 9". It is marked Made in India, Item No. 1073. It comes with a snuffer that hangs from a hook on one side of the cup holding the candle. The snuffer has a fixed bell and a 7" long, twisted handle. This candle holder and snuffer set shows very good craftmanship in its classic simplicity. It is in perfect condition and displays very well by itself but would also blend in wonderfully with other decor.
