SOLAR-TITE BRAND 384 SILICONE ELASTOMER KIT
LIKE SYLGARD 184 AND SLYGARD 182 but optimized for solar cell encapsulation.
For SOLAR CELL ENCAPSULATION
435gram Silicone Elastomer Base and 45.4gram Silicone Elastomer Curing agent
Color/Consistency/Mix: Clear, 10:1
Compatibility: Ceramics, Plastics and Polyesters
Properties: High temperature and low temperature stability
Oxidation, Ozone , Thermal ,UV and water resistance
DIY(DO IT YOURSELF) Instructions
1) Mix both SOLAR-TITE Elastomer base and SOLAR-TITE Elastomer curing agent
2) Pour solution into a partially assembled solar panel and wait for bubbles to escape.
3) Allow a few hours for room temperature cure during which the bubbles will escape without using vacuum.(For faster set you may use a heat gun but make sure that all air bubbles have escaped from the solution before setting.
