SOLID BRASS EWER from Saudi Arabia - VINTAGE

This is an old and hefty solid brass ewer that is part of a brass collection from Saudi Arabia. It is only 5" tall and 5" across, from spout to handle. It has an intricately decorated surface, creating a wonderful impression of flowers and leaves all over the piece. The lid is secure and opens and closes readily. The pin on the lid is tight. The ewer has a nice feel when handled. There are markings that appear to be Arabic engraved on the bottom. No metal polish was used so as to preserve the patina that shows this ewer's age and the richness of coloring that only aged brass displays. This piece will surely have a special place amongst your collection.
