The 40GB hard drive of this portable PC can store up all your important data with more to spare. The 12.1 inch XGA TFT display screen of the Motion M1400 has wide viewing angles, so you can view images even at 160°. The Ambient Light Sensor in this Motion Computing tablet PC optimizes the display brightness to give you the best viewing possible. The Speak Anywhere technology employed by this portable PC uses acoustic software that can be easily configured by you to give you the best-suited sound capabilities. This is a used machines so there are a few minor signs of usage on the outer casing but the LCD screen is in perfect shape; it has been restored to factory with the hard drives wiped clean, reformatted and a clean Motion OEM Windows XP Pro installed with SP3 applied; also, Microsoft Office 2007 Suite was install and activated via Microsoft Volume Licensing. Also, it has AutoCAD 2007 and Manga Studio EX 4.0 install for testing purposed only.
Overall this Tablet is in excellent working condition; no crack, no broken or missing part anywhere. It has 2-slot for memory and one slot currently has 1GB of DDR RAM occupied leaving one free slot for future upgrading to 2GB max memory. The LCD is bright and clear; there is no dead, stuck pixel or mark. All output ports, USB / PCMCIA / Audio / VGA / Firewire (IEEE 1394) / Fingerprint Reader peripherals are all working fine. The build-in Bluetooth allows you to use it with an external keyboard / mouse, connect to your phone for internet sharing, use it with your Bluetooth headset. This machine would be great for note taking with its stylus because it allows user to write naturally with the palm of your hand resting on its surface (palm rejection). The integrated dual microphones allows user to cleanly record voice and playback on the dual speakers I'll include two chargers and a LCD Hard Cover to protect the Tablet screen while not in use. The battery does hold its charge but not guarantee; however, I was able to surf the internet on it for nearly two hours without the use of an AC adapter.
