Vintage 1940 hat Persian wool front black wool cap split back

This hat probably dates to the 1040s. It is a small cap type hat made of black wool with a front piece of black Persian lamb. This has a gros grain bow on the top and gros grain black ribbon on a split V on the back. This sits very high on the head and will fit any hat size but must be secured with at least one hat pin. There is no face veil and no indication there was ever a face veil. There are no stains, moth holes or damage to this one.
