Here is a wonderful and rare hard cover cookbook titled... The Warren Cook Book (Cookbook) from the Second Auxiliary Mission Society of the First Presbyterian Church of Warren, Penna. 7th Edition and dated November 1937 with ONLY 2,000 cookbooks printed! (The first cookbook from Warren was in 1888 with only 1,000 copies--if you find this one, please let me know!)
There are 281 pages including index PLUS pages of ads in the back of the book.
The cookbook is in VERY good condition with minimal wear to the covers from use and re-shelving. INSIDE the pages are at least 98% free of any marks, stains or writing--just a few small notes by a few recipes.
Chapters include: Soups, Fish, Meats & Sauces, Poultry & Game, Eggs, Vegetables, Hors d'oeuvres, Canapes, and Cocktails, Salads & Dressings, Luncheon Dishes & Entrees, Bread, Biscuits - Muffins - Waffles, etc., Sandwiches & Fillings, Puddings & Sauces, Cold Desserts, Pastry & Pies, Layer Cakes - Fillings - Frostings, Loaf Cakes, Cookies, Doughnuts, Little Cakes, etc., Beverages, Ice Creams - Sherbets, Refrigerator Desserts, Candies, Jellies, Conserves - Preserves, Pickles, Catsup (their spelling) - Chili Sauce, Canning, Large Quantity Cooking and Index.
