These Restaurant Ware plates by Sterling China have a diameter of 7-1/4-inches and is a little over 3/4 inches tall. There is an airbrushed rooster on the plate as you can see in the pictures.
These old heavy china airbrushed plates are quite collectible and heavy, weighing 15 oz. each. Especially nice to be able to get 4!
Marked on the bottom of the plate shown - Sterling Vitrified China East-Liverpool, Ohio. U.S.A. in black along with the date code P for Jan-March, 1953. The 3 other plates were made in 1952 and 1953
There are no chips or cracks or repairs. There are a couple of glaze pops and when you hold the dish back and forth in the light you can see some utensil wear scratches.
