An anthology of incomparable recipes from the 6 New England states and a little something about the people whose tradition for good eating is herein permanently recorded by Imogene Wolcott from the files of Yankee magazine and from time-worn recipe books and many gracious contributions."
This book is a re-print of the original cookbook - I think the re-print is circa 1980's. 398 recipes that include seafood, stews, soups, desserts, vinegar pie, molasses taffy and more.
Hard cover a bit worn and dingy. Inside pages are tanned, one page has a hole but recipe can still be followed. A few pages have very small tears. Pages are clean, lightly tanned.
