Here is a set of 5 hard to find Fire King oven glass custard or baker cups/bowls in sapphire blue, flared and etched. Each of the 5 bowls measures approximately 2.0" high and 3.75" in diameter at the flared top, in excellent condition. Three are marked on the bottom "Fire King Oven Glass", which is impressed in the glass. Two are marked "Fire King" which means they are older. One of those marked just Fire King has a little more flair at the rim and what feels to me like a rough spot on the rim, but it might be a tiny chip. Hard to see.
The pale blue, called Sapphire Blue is much more sought after than the typical clear.
I am including free, a larger version with 2 tab handles marked "Fire King Oven Glass" which has a diameter of 4-3/4-in without the tabs. There are some fritters on the 2 handles and a chip on the rim. So a total of 6 pieces of Fire King. From 1942 to 1945 they were marked Fire King and the Fire King Oven Glass was used in the mid 1940's.
Before packing, the weight is about 1-1/2 pounds.
