Besides being used to freshen breath, it is said to have medicinal qualities, and can be used to flavor foods or make an herbal tea. To dry for tea, pick leaves before flowers appear.

Best suited for a gardener who is moderate in experience. Sow seeds 1/4" in full sun once temps reach 70-80 degrees. germinates 10-14 days, matures in 65 days. Can be started indoors in flats and transplanted once soil warms.
