Try this cute english daisy that is so small. Blooms in a mix of red, white, and pink. These are perennials, they will come back every year!
I mix some sterile sand with the seeds to distribute evenly. Barely cover & keep moist (not wet) until germination takes place.
These are great for containers or windowboxes as they only grow 3-6" tall and are very compact.
I have found that in the heat of summer (here in northern California if it reaches 95, it is too hot for them without some shade) these flowers prefer some shade in the aternoon. Morning sun is good. Be sure to keep the plants moist and do not let them dry out.
Once the weather becomes cold, the plant will stop producing flowers. Just cut off the top dead stuff and once spring arrives, keep them watered & they will come back again and again!
