This one of a kind colored map of St. Thomas depicts the names of the sugar estates / plantations and some of the names of landowners. It shows the town of Taphus (Charlotte Amalia / Amalie) and Water Island (at that time Estate Orkanhullet / Hassel Island was not an island). It has two inset views, one with Fort Christian / Christiansfort and the other with Frederiksfort / Bluebeard's Castle. It is adorned by a blank cartouche.
