Vintage Anchor Hocking Fire King Mug - Cardinal and Blue Jay
This Anchor Hocking Fire King mug has 2 birds on it. On one side is a Red Cardinal and the other side is a Blue Jay.
I have seen Fire King mugs with 1 bird, but to have 2 different birds is unique I think. I have had this a long time and have never used it.
The mug is 3-1/2-in tall. The top opening measures 3-in and with the handle measures about 4-in.
The mug is stackable and on the bottom it has Anchor Hocking Fire King Oven-Proof 69 Made in USA.
There are not chips, cracks or repairs. There does appear to have a scratch in the white portion of the blue Jay. The top edge feels smooth, but if you feel the seam right below, it feels a little rough in parts, but I think it was in the making and not damage.
