SANTA YNEZ VALLEY, CALIFORNIA - "Apple Country" - 1986 Promotional Brochure
Description: Here's a very nice fold-out brochure touting the "Apple Country" of the Santa Ynez Valley in California, including the towns of Solvang, Buellton, Ballard, Los Olivos, and Santa Ynez.. The brochure is primarily intended to promote more than a dozen apple growers in the valley and includes a large map showing the location of each farm, ranch, or orchard. A "Harvest Chart" also shows the expected availability of fresh apples and other fruit, along with the hours that each grower is open to the public.
Size: approx. 8.5" x 3.75" closed, opening to 17" x 11"
Date: Probably 1986, since 1987 and 1988 appear in the chart as future years.
Condition: Very good, I'd say. The brochure is clean and unmarked, with just a couple small wrinkles where the folds meet. (Please see photos.)
