Vintage Heart-shaped Brooch or Pin with Three Pearls
Description: Here's a very pretty vintage brooch, more or less in the shape of a heart. In the center is mounted what appear to be three pearls of various sizes. (However, I'm not a jewelry expert, so I really can't say if the pearls are real or imitation.)
The heart itself is solid metal with a bright brushed gold finish. However, there are no markings on the piece to indicate what the metal is, so all I can say is that it does not attract a magnet.
Actual Size: approx. 1.5"W x 1.75"H
Maker: Not identified.
Condition: Very good, I'd say. The only signs of wear that I can detect are what appear to be light abrasions on a couple of the pearls and perhaps around the outer rim of the heart. The pin and catch work smoothly and easily. (Please see scans.)
