Description: Here's a vintage ladies' Helbros wristwatch with a stainless steel expansion band. The back of the watch case just says "STAINLESS STEEL BACK". There are no other markings to indicate a model or provide additional identification.

Each link of the expansion band is marked on the back with "SPEIDEL" and a patent number. The ends are marked "STAINLESS STEEL".

The watch case is slightly less than 1" in diameter.

I am not, by any stretch of the imagination, a watch expert. I have no idea how old this watch is, although it certainly has a vintage appearance. The expansion band may or may not be original to the watch. I have not tried to open the case to inspect the components.

Condition: This watch is not currently running, and the winding stem will neither wind the watch nor set the time. It can only be unscrewed.

The watch case itself appears to have been well worn and the crystal has several surface scratches, along with what appear to be a couple short cracks. The expansion band, however, is bright, shiny, and stretches and contracts very easily. (Please see photos.)
