This vintage pair of candy dishes is a beautiful addition to any collection. Made in Limoges, France during the 1940s, these hand-painted porcelain dishes feature a multicolor floral pattern. The leaf-shaped dishes have gold-plated accents and a glossy finish, adding to their decorative appeal. The set includes two dishes with one compartment, each, perfect for serving candy, nuts, or storing trinkets. While they are not antique, they have an art deco style and are original pieces. Care instructions recommend hand washing only. These dishes make a lovely gift or can be used as a stunning display in a home. The smaller dish measures 3 7/8" long and 2 1/2" wide. The larger measures 4 3/8" long and 2 15/16" wide. The bottoms are stamped Limoges France. There's a small chip in the tip of one of the dishes and they may have some very minor wear due to age, but nothing else noted besides the chip in the one piece.
