MOLLIE KATHLEEN MINE - Cripple Creek, Colorado - 1950s Visitor Info Brochure
Description: Here's a somewhat vintage fold-out visitor information brochure for the Mollie Kathleen Mine, located in Cripple Creek, Colorado. It touts a tour of the gold mine as Fascinating, Popular, Safe and Clean. The inside of the brochure provides a "colorful" history of Cripple Creek, Victor, and the gold boom of the 1890s. The back panel provides a basic map of the Colorado area between Denver and Pueblo, showing the relative location of Cripple Creek.
Size: approx. 8.5" x 3.625" closed, opening to 8.5" x 10.875"
Date: Not explicitly dated, but I'm fairly certain it's from the late 1950s or perhaps early 1960s. (Adult admission was just $1.10, so that may help date it, as might the "Cripple Creek 321-J" phone number.)
Condition: Very good, I'd say. The front panel has a small transparent stain and the back panel appears to have a small notation in green ink at the bottom edge. Otherwise, the brochure is clean, with no tears. (Please see photos.)
**NOTE**: Shipping charges are discounted when more than one of my items are purchased at the same time. See what else I have to offer!
