MOKA LEROUX Victorian Trade Card - dead fish, lion
Description: Victorian Trade Card - MOKA LEROUX - ALPHONSE LEROUX - Orchies (Nord), France
Here's an interesting vintage French advertising card featuring three different vignettes. The first shows a hanging fish. The second shows a lion leaving its den, while the third shows a man who seems to be upset about something. The card appears to be attempting to depict the uses of the words "Saure" and "Sort".
The back is covered with advertising (in French, of course) for the company's product.
Size: approx. 2.75" x 4.375"
Date: Not dated.
Lithographer: A. Gombert et Soeur Halluin.
Condition: Good, I'd say. This card is only lightly soiled, but the edges and corners are somewhat worn, with small creases across the lower left corner. (Please see scans.)
MULTIPLE ITEM SHIPPING DISCOUNT: I will ship up to 4 cards for the single base shipping charge shown. For purchases of more than 4 cards, the shipping charge will increase by just a small increment for every 4 additional cards.
