Description: Here's a very nice and informative large fold-out brochure for the Mono Lake Tufa State Reserve and the Mono Basin National Forest Scenic Area near Lee Vining, California. One side serves primarily as a map to the area, showing the lake and forest area,with roads, campgrounds, tufa areas, and a visitor center. There are also several photos highlighting the area's scenery. The other side describes the area, its history, geology and wildlife. The brochure was published by the California Department of Parks and Recreation in cooperation with the Sierra State Parks Foundation.

Date: 1992

Condition: Very good, I'd say. The brochure is clean and fresh, with some scattered thumb bends, but no tears or extraneous markings. (Please see photos.)
