Description: Here's a vintage ladies' Chateau wristwatch with a gold plated expansion band. The back of the watch case just says "BASE METAL" and "SWISS MADE". There are no other markings to indicate a model or provide additional identification.

Each link of the expansion band is marked on the back with "Speidel USA". The ends are marked "1/20-10 K.G.F.TOP CAPS U.S.A." / "1/40-10 K.R.G.P. ENDS" / "STAINLESS STEEL BOTTOM CAP".

The watch case is approximately 1" in diameter. The expansion band has about a 2.25" inside diameter when fully contracted, stretching to perhaps 3" or so when fully expanded.

I am not, by any stretch of the imagination, a watch expert. I have no idea how old this watch is, though it certainly has a vintage appearance. I have not tried to open the case to inspect the components.

Condition: This watch is not currently running, as the winding stem only seems to be able to set the time. It does not seem able to actually wind the watch.

The watch case shows only a modest amount of wear and the expansion band is bright, shiny, and stretches and contracts very easily. (Please see scans.)
