PIERRE BONNARD (French, 1867-1947), dated 1930. Born in 1867 in France, Bonnard first exhibited in 1896. His simplicity of subject matter and ability to evoke an intimate pensive feeling has made Bonnard’s work a joy to collect. This beautiful original (lifetime) lithograph is a classic example of Bonnard’s ability to affect the entire mood of the observer. This is a very rare original Bonnard lithograph that should not be given second thoughts to those serious collectors. I have seen the cost nearly double over the last year for full collections.
