1970s MARYLAND BICENTENNIAL TRAIL MAP - Maryland Bicentennial Commission
Description: This fold-out map actually consists of four separate regional maps covering different portions of the state of Maryland. There are maps for Central Maryland, Western Maryland, Southern Maryland, and the Eastern Shore. Each map is, in turn, broken down into counties, with numbered points of historical interest within each county. It doesn't actually provide any detail about each of those sites, but simply gives contact information for each county's Bicentennial Commission, Chamber of Commerce, or other local tourist information center.
The map was sponsored by the Maryland Bicentennial Commission and the Maryland Department of Economic and Community Development.
Size: Folded: approx. 8.5" x 3.75"; Open: approx 17" x 22"
Date: Not explicitly dated, but since it's Bicentennial related, I assume it's from the mid-1970s.
Condition: Very good, I'd say. There's some light brown staining in the center on the front, but the map is otherwise clean and unmarked. (Please see photos.)
**NOTE**: Shipping charges are discounted when more than one of my items are purchased at the same time. See what else I have to offer!
