WALT DISNEY WORLD, Orlando, Florida - 1972 Information Guide
Description: Here's a vintage "Information Guide" booklet from the early days of Walt Disney World in Florida. It was distributed "Compliments of GAF -- the Official Film of Walt Disney World". It appears to contain everything a visitor would need to know about the Magic Kingdom, from ticket book prices (back when A, B, C, D, or E tickets were required for each ride and attraction), guided tour prices, graphical maps of the overall park and each individual "land", and listings of the attractions, food, and services to be found in each of those areas. Also detailed are the accommodations available: the Contemporary Resort, Polynesian Village, and Fort Wilderness campground.
Historical tidbit: In 1972, the most expensive ticket book, which included admission to the Magic Kingdom, unlimited transportation (Monorail, Steamboats, Trams), one "A", one "B", two "C", three "D", and four "E" tickets (11 rides in all) cost $5.95 for an adult and $4.95 for a child. How times have changed!
Size: approx. 8" x 3.75" (32 pages)
Copyright Date: 1972
Condition: Good, I'd say. This guide was well used in its day, and has notations written on the back cover and on several pages within the booklet. I noted 8 pages that have check marks beside some of the attractions. All pages with such markings are shown in the scans. Otherwise, the booklet is bright, clean, and all pages are still firmly attached to the two staples that bind the booklet.
**NOTE**: Shipping charges are discounted when more than one of my items are purchased at the same time. See what else I have to offer!
