Description: Very nice pair of clear wine glasses from the Chateau Julien Winery of Carmel Valley, California, apparently produced for a special occasion in 1998, in conjunction with the Il Fornaio restaurant. On one side (shown on the glass on the right) is etched a small oval encircling the words "Il Fornaio / CUCINA ITALIANA". Beneath that is etched the crest of Chateau Julien and the words "CHÂTEAU JULIEN / WINE ESTATE". On the other side (shown on the glass on the left) is etched a large oval encircling the words "Il Fornaio / SAGRA DEL PESCE" above the year "1998".

The glasses are approximately 6¾" tall with a 2½" diameter base and hexagonal fluted stem.

Great collector's item!

Condition: Excellent, I'd say, with no chips, cracks, or scratches...never been used.
