This item is a rare and vintage COLT STUDIO PRESENTATION publication titled MANPOWER No.2. This magazine was produced in 1970 using heavy stock paper. See photos for condition.
With the second issue of MANPOWER! the COLT STUDIO presents a visual
essay on the images of man. Men are best known as the virile, powerful and aggressive Homo sapiens and through photographs and artwork we herein display him as such. We hope to also broaden the popular viewpoint, reconsider man's needs and gain a newer perspective of the images of man.
“With a name like Colt it isn't surprising. In dealing with the most virile aspects of the masculine image, it was inevitable that the American Cowboy should appear as our prime subject. And when he did, it was like, well, a gun fitting a holster. Some things are just right together. This 'rightness* is apparent within the following pages as you enter the world of dust, jeans, chaps, stirrups, boots, leather - and men. Because that's where Colt is - where the men are!”
ALL MODELS IN THIS MAGAZINE ARE CERTIFIED BY THE PUBLISHERS TO BE OVER THE LEGAL AGE OF 18, AS REQUIRED BY FEDERAL LAW.
