JASPER PARK, Canada - Vintage Felt Souvenir Pennant - Mountie on horse, with dog
Description: Very nice vintage felt souvenir pennant from Jasper National Park in Alberta, Canada. It features a multicolored drawing of a Canadian Mountie astride his horse, accompanied by his faithful dog. It the background are a mountain peak and a couple evergreen trees.
Size: approx. 7" X 22½" (excluding streamers)
Date: Not dated, but I'm fairly certain it's from around 1960 or so.
Condition: Very good, I'd say. The pennant is just lightly soiled, with some mild rippling from having been rolled up and stored for many years. The tip is somewhat bent and creased. There are two tiny pinholes in the yellow strip at the far left and another one near the tip, indicating it was once thumb tacked to a wall.
