Vintage Tube Motorola Stereophonic Portable Record Player

A true example of a quality tube stereophonic record player from 1959.This Motorola SH 12S is really a Motorola console stereo made portable. There is no comparison to today’s USB Bluetooth vinyl record player. The sound quality is rich, full and ANALOG. This Motorola has a record changer that you can stack up to 10 vinyl 12” 33 1/3 records. It is fully automatic and shuts off after the last record has played. I evaluated the performance and replaced all defective components as well as tubes. I took apart the record changer cleaned and lubricated the parts and reassembled it.I installed a new cartridge and the tested the complete stereo. I made it aux/Bluetooth capable so you can stream music thru it.The aux function is controlled by remote. The case shows wear but for as old as it is it is in pretty good shape.
