 This ultra Rare Hardcover was Published in San Francisco by Saalfield Publications, with permission by King Features Syndicate and reprints the Newspaper strips that originally appeared in Hearst Newspapers! This IS NOT Listed in the Overtsreet Price Guide, but if you look in the "Platinum Age Comics" section, there are 11 Listings of their earliest apperances before this book was released. I do believe that this book collects most, if not all, of those early issues!
Created by H.H. Knerr, this 1st edition Hardcover follows The Katzenjammer Kids through some humourour romps on a Mountain!!
This Platinum Age Comic is Rarely seen...hey, keep in mind this came out 4 years before the 1st Superman Comic Book!!
This is in FN to FN+ condition...EASILY the nicest copy I've found online!!  The 1st 10 pages are  bit loose, but still connected and the rest of the pages are still pretty sturdy and are all here and complete!! I believe there are 80 pages total and the book number is 1056.
There were only 4 of these ever released, as far as my research goes: This one, The Katzenjammer Kids in the Mountains,  The Adventures of Little Annie Rooney, Tim Tyler and Just Kids!
