Description: Here's a very nice unused postcard showing Galway's Soufriere, a fissure or hot sprints area on the Soufriere Hills volcano, in Montserrat, West Indies. Apparently this area was buried when the volcano erupted in December, 1997.
The photo is credited to Jenny Warburg. The card made by Dexter Press and published by EMPIRE SHOP, Montserrat, West Indies. It carries a code number of "50294-D".
Size: approx. 5.875" x 4"
Date: Not dated, but I'm fairly certain it's from the early 1980s, or perhaps 1970s
Condition: Very fine, I'd say. The card is unused and quite clean. (Please see scans.)
