Description: Here's a beautiful pair of vintage (or perhaps even antique) oval screw-post cameo earrings, each featuring the head of what appears to be a Grecian or Roman lady. I'm guessing that the metal is brass, although it's not marked in any way and all I can say for sure is that it's not magnetic. There are no markings of any kind to indicate maker or age.

Maker: Not identified.

Condition: Generally good, I'd say. These earrings appear to have had considerable use over the years. The cameo inserts appear to be in perfect condition, but the surrounding twisted filigree on the one shown on the right is cracked or broken at the bottom, as noted in my first photo. The screw post wires appear to be a bit bent, positioning the posts somewhat off-center, but they are otherwise undamaged and the screws turn easily.

I've not attempted to clean or polish the earrings in any way.
