Once more, Hello Dear Readers!
As I start this editorial I am surrounded by the photographs that are to be included in this issue, and my skin warms again in memory of the Riviera sunshine that lit most of the studies herein. My mind runs back to clear azure skies and hot beaches, and bronzed, laughing friends and I look out of my office window on a dull sky and passers-by in rain-macs! But the photographs are a souvenir of the summer with its uninhibited pleasures, and a promise for the next year! I hope they will give you as much pleasure as they have given me and will give for a long time to come!

There's not a lot of news to pass on, except that our distribution grows apace, and thanks are due to one and all for terrific support and appreciative mail. Also our 'brother-periodical' MAN-ifique! is breaking all records. Please don't forget that FORMosus and MAN-ifique are twins, complementary to each other, and should be collected to form an integral whole: if you miss one you miss 50% of my work!

Our Scorpion Publications are now just over a year old and after a great many experiments, some abortive, others far from perfect, and a huge expenditure in time, work, energy, creative activity and finance, we have much for which to be grateful, and some items also to be proud of!
