20 Old Antique Tibetan Carnelian Beads 20mm Each w/Eyes? Banded? 158 Grams
For your consideration are 20 old Carnelian beads. While I am confident they are carnelian, I am not sure if the design are banded or if some of the beads have eyes. I am not sure if they are antique or vintage. But I am sure they are old. They were in a box of some pretty old Tibetan silver beads and misc. They all had the signs of age in my opinion. I purchased these beads in a lot other very unusual beads from a high end estate sale of a wealthy lady. Each bead measures approximately 20mm each with a total gram weight of 157.8. I wonder if they were ever worn because there is no clasp and they are strung on nylon. From end to end, the beads measure a little over 15-3/4" long.
