This is a rare black and white sepia-toned photograph from the 1930’s featuring a stamped and signed original photograph of boxer WILLIAM "YOUNG" STRIBLING, ca. 1930's by photographer ACHILLE VOLPE. "YOUNG" has brown hair, a smooth chest and a beautiful lightweight boxing frame. The photograph measures 8" x 10"H. This 8 inch by 10 inch sepia tone gelatin silver print is in very good condition. Volpe was primarily a photographer of artists/performers in NYC. This is a rare photo of an athlete. Francis Achille Volpe "Achille F. S.
