This item is a rare and vintage Man Alive Publications Limited publication titled MAN ALIVE #12, the magazine of Britain's top Physique Photographers featuring photography of muscular young partially dressed in posing straps or less, this publication is digest-sized. This magazine was produced in December 1960 and it is still in GREAT condition.

“We wrote the Editorial to this twelfth Issue of your favourite Physique Magazine at the same time as both the front and back cover photographs were being taken . . . . namely the Fall of 1960, with an Indian Summer still bravely holding off the snow and icy blasts of Winter.

But realizing that you, our loyal readers would probably be scanning through this Issue beside a roaring log-fire with Christmas decorations all around and the warmth of family and friends to keep out the chill December frosts, we take this opportunity of wishing, you with great pleasure and in all sincerity the Best of Good Cheer for Christmas and a Gay and Prosperous New Year.”
