This item is a rare vintage and oversized ITALIAN publication titled SPECIALE FOTO babilonia edizioni No.33 featuring color and black/white photographic pictorials of beautiful European, young male nudes. Each bimonthly issue of SPECIAL FOTO highlights the world's best in young male nude photography, through the lens of a different photographer or studio. This issue was photographed exclusively by JOSÈ MESSANA and measures approximately 13" x 8-1/2", which is an additional 2" of full bleed artistic photography. This magazine was produced in 1997 and it is still in UNREAD condition.

A few words from JOSÈ MESSANA, photographer

"Since his birth in 1961, José Messana has lived for most of his life in Zürich, Switzerland. After his baccalaureat, he studied to become a translator and interpreter. In order to pay his stu-dies, he began modelling and ultimately it was behind the camera that he increasingly found himself. His ever growing success is exemplified by exhibitions and publications in several women's magazines such as Playgirl, For Women and Women Only, as well as the teenage press like Ok Podium and Pop Rocky. This is the second issue of Speciale Foto devoted to his work; the first issue was published in 1994.
José Messana is predominantly self-taught and is strongly influenced by great masters of male photography: Weber, Ritts, Forster, and the Swiss, Walter Pfeiffer. However, he has developed a personal style which shows a great passion for the male nude. He demonstrates that there is great pleasure to be derived from the pure aesthetics of a man's body. His photo-, is characterised by an avoidance of sensational ef-tects, but remains, nonetheless, powerfully erotic. Olten his approach is playful but never vulgar."
